Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village is located in a quiet, residential area in South St. Louis. Many of our residents have lived most of their lives in nearby neighborhoods and are delighted to be able to remain in South St. Louis while living at Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village. Here residents are provided a comfortable, safe home with dedicated and friendly staff.
We welcome families and friends to visit their loved-one often and become part of the Alexian Family that continues to grow at ABLV. We also encourage families to bring their pets to visit with their loved one, as well as the other residents at our facility.
Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village offers private and semi-private rooms, which residents and families are encouraged to personalize. Outside of their personal living areas, residents enjoy sitting in front of the cozy fireplace, watching a Cardinal ballgame, a Rams football game, or a favorite movie.
A large aviary of birds and a peaceful aquarium add to the homelike surroundings. The chapel is another favorite place where rosary, mass and interdenominational services are everyday events. Another popular area amongst our residents, families and friends is the outdoor patio. When the weather is nice, many residents enjoy sitting on the patio, visiting with friends and family or participating in an outdoor activity.
At Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village there is socialization, companionship and understanding of another human being’s needs. It is people helping people—all part of the Alexian Brothers’ commitment to quality, security, respect and compassion.
