Senior Neighbors, an Alexian Brothers ministry, and the North River Family YMCA would like to invite those who are interested in learning more about the Chattanooga District Senior Olympics to the Senior Olympics Open House and Training Day Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the North River Family YMCA located at 4138 Hixson Pike in Hixson. Registration is appreciated, but not required. Please call

The event will feature demonstrations and brief lessons on various Senior Olympics events, including: basketball free throw, racquetball, swimming (stroke class), softball throw, javelin, shot put, discus and more.
Registration forms for the 2010 Chattanooga District Senior Olympics will be available at the event.
