Welcome to Senior Neighbors
empowering people to live longer, more fulfilling lives

Since 1960, Senior Neighbors has been Chattanooga's resource for all things related to aging well. Known for empowering and advocating on behalf of seniors, we collaborate with other community service providers to develop new approaches to aging.

Senior Neighbors provides vocational, social, mental, spiritual and physical opportunities designed to maintain and improve health and wellness through the following programs:

  • The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) places older adults in paid temporary community service positions with local non-profit agencies and government organizations.
  • The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) places volunteers with non-profit agencies in the Chattanooga area.
  • The Chattanooga Senior Olympics
  • 3 Senior Centers in downtown Chattanooga and 1 in Soddy Daisy
  • Scenic City Chorale and Senior Neighbors Orchestra

For more information on the programs listed above, please click on the corresponding link on the left.
